About % Arabica

% ARABICA NEW YORK DUMBO ROASTERY

Located at 20 Old Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11201, % Arabica operates as a coffee shop serving Brooklyn in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as cafe, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach % Arabica at (718) 865-2551; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is arabicacoffeeus.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 1,736 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded coffee shops in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Really nice place with a great ambiance. The location is perfect, just near Brooklyn Bridge. I absolutely loved the Kyoto Latte, it was amazing! ☕️

In my opinion this place is one of the best coffee spots around the area. The coffee quality is excellent, everything tastes fresh, and the flavors really stand out. You also get a great view to the Brooklyn Bridge while zipping a delicious coffee. Definitely one of my favorite spots, it’s worth trying out.

Absolutely love % Arabica. The coffee is consistently smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. Their Spanish Latte is my go-to — creamy, slightly sweet, and incredibly satisfying. The minimalist design and calm atmosphere make every visit feel special.

A literal 10/10 experience in Dumbo! We visited during our NYC trip in late November, and honestly, this was a highlight. As huge coffee drinkers, we have high standards, but % Arabica blew them away. We grabbed our drinks and sat by the window, the views of the Brooklyn Bridge are absolutely stunning and worth the visit alone. But the coffee? Wow. It was incredibly smooth, nutty, and creamy. I expected 'good' coffee, but this was next level. No description I give will do it justice; you just have to taste it for yourself. If you’re anywhere near Dumbo, do not skip this spot, be sure to take a visit!

We’ve visited % Arabica Dumbo several times, and it’s consistently a lovely place to enjoy coffee. The café is bright, spacious, and beautifully designed. The Kyoto Latte is excellent—smooth, well-balanced, and always a highlight. The Americano is also quite good. As a Japanese brand, the attention to detail and coffee quality really shows. One of the most special features of this location is the large window overlooking the world-famous Brooklyn Bridge. It’s a unique and memorable setting that many people come specifically to experience. There is a corner seating area with an especially nice view, and it naturally attracts a lot of interest. It’s completely understandable that guests want to take photos there. On occasion, we’ve noticed some visitors bringing professional photography equipment and wearing custom or cosplay outfits, using the space primarily for extended photo sessions. Everyone should feel welcome to enjoy the café, but in a shared seating environment like this, a little courtesy and awareness of others can help ensure that more guests have the opportunity to enjoy both the coffee and the view. Overall, this is a wonderful café with high-quality coffee and an
